About the Djihanian-Teshkhoian Scholarship Initiative
Armenia, a nation with a rich cultural heritage and a history of resilience, faces the challenge of brain drain, where talented young individuals often seek opportunities abroad due to limited prospects at home. The retention of skilled youth is crucial for the country's sustainable development. Recognizing this, the Djihanian-Teshkhoian Scholarship Initiative seeks to address this issue by incentivizing Armenian youth to pursue higher education within the country and contribute to its growth and prosperity.
PROGRAM COMPONENTS
The Scholarship Initiative will provide need-based financial aid to students facing economic hardship, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their educational aspirations.
The program will encourage scholarship recipients to engage in community service and leadership activities, fostering a sense of civic responsibility and social impact.
Recipients of the scholarship will be required to sign a contract committing them to reside in Armenia for a minimum of five years after completing their studies.
